Hey!

My name is Sabrina Shah. I am an actor and singer originally from northern New Jersey. I have always been a creative person, and I am always looking for new ways to express myself. I first found a spark in drawing and painting, but once I found performing, I was sold. I grew up going to New York City to see shows, so as soon as I knew that being a performer was something I could do for a living, I threw myself into it completely.

I moved to New York City to earn my BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Graphic Design at Pace University. Throughout my time at Pace, I had the pleasure of being a part of several developmental workshops, concerts, cabarets, plays, and musicals. In my junior year, I was lucky enough to join the company of Kimberly Akimbo on Broadway as a vacation swing covering the roles of Delia and Teresa. I made my Broadway debut in January of 2023 with a few hours notice and it remains the most thrilling (and nerve-wracking!) theatrical experience I have ever had.

In my senior year at Pace I presented my Honors Thesis, “Coming-of-Age” in South Pacific, The Sound of Music, and Kimberly Akimbo, featuring very generous interviews from Jeanine Tesori and Victoria Clark. (You can read it here if you’re interested!)

When I am not performing, you can find me working on a graphic design project, growing vegetables, cooking, reading, or snuggling with my dog, Teddy. Thank you for visiting my site!
