Hey!
My name is Sabrina Shah. I am a singer, actor, and dancer originally from northern New Jersey. I have always been a creative person, and I am always looking for new ways to express myself. I first found a spark in drawing and painting, but once I found performing I was sold. I grew up going to New York City to see shows, so as soon as I knew that being a performer was something I could do for a living, I threw myself into it completely.
In 2020, I moved to New York City to earn my BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Graphic Design at Pace University. Throughout my time at Pace, I had the pleasure of being a part of several developmental workshops, concerts, cabarets, plays, and musicals. In my junior year, I was lucky enough to join the company of Kimberly Akimbo on Broadway as a vacation swing covering the roles of Delia and Teresa. I made my Broadway debut in January of 2023 with a few hours notice and it remains the most thrilling (and nerve-wracking!) theatrical experience I have ever had.
In my senior year at Pace I presented my Honors Thesis, “Coming-of-Age” in South Pacific, The Sound of Music, and Kimberly Akimbo, featuring very generous interviews from Jeanine Tesori and Victoria Clark. (You can read it here if you’re interested!) Having recently graduated from Pace, I can now say that I am the proud owner of a BFA!
When I am not performing, you can find me working on a graphic design project, growing vegetables, cooking, reading, or snuggling with my dog, Teddy. Thank you for visiting my site!
